Dr. Goodspeed lives in Portage with his wife, Heidi, and two sons (one is in college).
Dr. Goodspeed graduated Cum Laude from Denison University in Ohio with a Bachelor’s in Biology, and then received his Medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa at Denison and Alpha Omega Alpha at Wayne State University. His residency was completed in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Dr. Goodspeed is Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of OB/GYN at Michigan State University. He has been a physician for more than 25 years and joined Partners in Women’s Health in 1990.
Dr. Goodspeed specializes in:
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimally invasive laparascopic surgeries
When not in the office, Dr. Goodspeed enjoys challenging his wife to a racquetball game or can be found on the golf course (rumor has it that he is an excellent golfer!). He also enjoys tennis, sailing, bicycling, and skiing – and he has a great sense of humor!
