Linda L. French, M.S.N., C.N.M.

 

 

Linda lives in Galesburg with her husband, Steve.  She has 2 sons and their families, which includes 4 grandchildren.

Linda graduated from the Bronson School of Nursing in 1969, received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan, and completed her Master’s degree in Nursing in the field of Nurse Midwifery at the University of Pennsylvania in 1984.  Linda was an Obstetrical Nurse for 14 years before becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife.  She has practiced Midwifery for more than 25 years, some of which was in her own private nurse-midwifery office in Plainwell before joining Partners in Women’s Health. 

Linda was Southwest Michigan’s first certified nurse midwife and was featured in the local Encore Magazine in December 2007.  She is very well-known in the community – she has delivered thousands of babies, probably many that you know!

Linda received the Southwest Michigan Annual Perinatal Award for Person of the Year from Pipp Community Hospital in 1998.

  • Menopause

Linda enjoys playing the piano at home and church, as well as spending time with her family.  She also loves to read and is often an advocate for people with inadequate resources.
