Dr. Hamilton lives in Portage with his wife and 2 teenagers, 1 dog, 2 cats, a ferret, a rabbit, and 12 goldfish! Two other children are off to college. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BA degree, and a Medical degree from the University of Florida-School of Medicine. His residency was completed at Michigan State University in the OB/GYN specialty.
He received the Distinguished Community Volunteer Faculty Award from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Commitment to Educational Excellence Award from MSU Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies, Clinical Faculty Teaching Award in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology, and the United States Public health Regional Health Administrators Award. Dr. Hamilton is currently Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of OB/GYN, at Michigan State University.
Dr. Hamilton has been a Provider in Kalamazoo since 1990 and joined Partners in Women’s Health in 2000. His special interests include:
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimally invasive laparascopic surgeries
- High risk obstetrics
- Teaching (medical students in the Kalamazoo area)
